Hypoallergenic Diapers for Babies

Newborns have sensitive skin and are allergic to minimal things, so it is essential to keep them safe from hypoallergenic things. The most important thing for a baby is the diaper they wear because it is on their bodies for long hours, so it has to be comfortable and safe for their soft and sensitive skin.

Types of diapers

 

I searched for the best diaper for diaper rash for my aunt's newborn son, and I came across various types of it. The two most common kinds are - cloth diapers and disposable cotton diapers.

 

Cloth diapers are the ones that are made of pure cotton fabric. These are a traditional kind of diaper which is in use for ages. However, today these are available in the market in several shapes, forms, and designs- tied-up, flat, pre-folded, to name a few. 

 

Disposable-cotton-diapers

On the other hand, disposable cotton diapers are made of various materials like bamboo, cotton, silk, etc. It is not reusable as it has the content of chemical absorbent, so it becomes necessary to throw it after use.


Differences

 

I noticed several differences while searching for the best diaper for diaper rash. Some of them are as follows.

 

- Cloth diapers are environment friendly, while disposable diapers are not as they take a lot of time to degrade.

- Cloth diapers are five times cheaper than disposable ones.

- Disposable diapers cause a rash on the baby's skin if it is there for long hours. However, cloth diapers have no such harm on the skin as they are soft and comfortable.

- Cloth diapers are a one-time investment as they are washable and reusable, while disposable ones turn out to be expensive in this case.

- Disposable diapers are hassle-free as I can throw them after use.

 

Conclusion

 

I got important information while searching for diapers for my cousin, which helped me get the best thing. Thus, when purchasing anything for a baby, it becomes essential to make a choice wisely.
